Speaking as a guest on The Roy Green Show,michael kors canada, on AM640,michael kors canada, Ford admitted he had not read the Saturday Star article by Kevin Donovan and Jayme Poisson, which revealed that police are investigating attempts by two of his brother’s associates to find the video. It’s just another attack,” he told Green. Other media outlets also ran stories on Saturday about a police investigation into Ford’s dealings, but Doug Ford spoke only about the Star piece. The Star interviewed multiple sources for the article, including Domenic Basile, lawyer for the mayor’s occasional driver and bodyguard,Michael Kors Purses, Alexander “Sandro” Lisi. Basile confirmed Lisi is the subject of an investigation. Lisi, who has been convicted for threatening death to one woman,Michael Kors Outlet, and assault and threatening bodily harm to another, is one of the associates who have tried to gather information about the video. Other men from the mayor’s inner circle mentioned in the article are Bruno Bellissimo, a crack addict who has known Ford since high school, and Peter Kordas, a former TTC driver who has told friends he is an occasional driver for Ford.Doug Ford went on to say that “the people are fed up with this tabloid garbage,” and indicated that “every time the Star puts out an article, we have the media chasing us around for a week. All I’m asking is if they can’t prove anything, let us do our job.”The video, in which the mayor can be heard making racist and homophobic remarks, has been seen by two Star reporters.The mayor has not returned numerous requests for comment from the Star since news of the video surfaced in May. Ford has previously said that he cannot comment on a video that he hasn’t seen or doesn’t exist. The Star has determined that police are not only seeking information on the video, but are probing other activities of the mayor, although police have refused to provide comment to the Star. |
