The list of suitable Chinese engines includes those from Lifan,adjustable clutch lever, Jialing, YX Works, GPX and SSR. The best option is to use an engine with a semi-automatic transmission, as the kit utilizes mountain bike brakes with a pair of hand levers. If you use fixed footpegs instead of bicycle cranks, a rear brake pedal in the standard motorcycle location is possible.What the kit does not include are all of the other mountain bike parts that complete the build. You will need a dual-crown fork with a minimum of 7 inches of travel, while out back a mountain bike shock or minimoto shock can be used. A 26-in. mountain bike wheel is utilized up front, while a 24-in./36-hole wheel with Motopeds’ custom hub is necessary for the rear.
