CHARSADDA: Expressing concern at increase in militant activities, Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan has said Dera Ismail Khan jailbreak is a failure of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led provincial government and the captain (Imran Khan) should accept it and quit the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.Talking to various delegations of the party leaders, office-bearers and activists on the second day of Eidul Fitr at Wali Bagh here, he said terrorists attack on Dera Ismail Khan Prison was a slap in the face of PTI-led government which was never tired of making tall claims of bringing peace and tranquility to the terror-hit country during the election campaign.Besides others, party leaders including Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Senator Zahid Khan and Arbab Tahir Khan Khalil met the ANP chief and exchanged Eid greetings.“Imran Khan had severely criticised the ANP-led KP government after the Bannu jailbreak and had asked our ministers to quit the government. Now its the PTI turn to do what it had sought from the ANP,” he told the party delegates. He said the ANP bravely fought the terrorism during its rule and had rendered matchless sacrifices for the survival of the country.Asfandyar said the law and order situation in KP was getting from bad to worse, adding that incidents of kidnapping for ransom and extortion were on the rise in the province, particularly in provincial metropolis.“The Taliban are roaming on the roads and streets, but the provincial government is helpless to rein in them,” he said.To a question, the ANP chief said the law and order situation was not only bad in KP but also the entire country was faced with violence, sectarianism and ethnic hostilities.“The terrorists attack on the Police Lines in Quetta is a glaring example of weakness of the government to tackle the issue,” he said, adding,Michael Kors Purses, the government must take steps to boost the morale of the forces. Asfandyar, however, michael kors canada, said that wiping out terrorism was not the job of a single political party but all the political forces had to unite against the menace of militancy and terrorism.“The peace can come to this region if Pakistan, Afghanistan and the US adopted a unanimous comprehensive strategy against terrorism and extremism,” the ANP chief said.About Balochistan, he said the Baloch people were deprived of their rights and the situation in that province can improve if they were given their due rights. _________________ People watching the forthcoming beginning of the German half of the inhabitants of Berlin are no interested in co-optation |
