Photo: Brendan Esposito Wests Tigers coach Mick Potter insists he hasn't given Benji Marshall any assurances he'll remain in first grade for the rest of the season but admits it is difficult to overlook his legacy at the club. Potter named Marshall at five-eighth on Tuesday night despite pressure mounting on the rookie coach to dump his high-profile playmaker. Marshall struggled in Monday night's 56-14 loss to the Roosters but has survived the axe to play his 199th NRL game against the Dragons at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday afternoon. Potter is adamant no player is exempt from being dumped for poor performances but given everything Marshall has achieved at the club,Michael Kors Outlet, the coach admits his five-eighth is even more difficult to drop. Advertisement "I've given no one assurances, Benji included, michael kors canada," Potter said. "Everyone tries to do their best. You have to remember that Benji has been part of this club for a long time. A decision like that won't be taken lightly." There is a push from Tigers fans to give teenage sensation Luke Brooks a chance to experience the NRL before the end of the season,Michael Kors Handbags, however Potter has not been able to elevate him into the first grade. Second tier salary cap exemptions have kept Brooks playing in the Holden Cup and NSW Cup this season but Potter is convinced his young playmaker has earned his stripes and could handle the top grade. "I haven't spoken to the NRL so I don't know what the story is," Potter said. "All I can say is that I think he's ready and I like what he's been doing in 20s and NSW Cup." Manly coach Geoff Toovey has named back-rower Anthony Watmough despite the NSW Origin star under an injury cloud with a knee injury. Despite a knee problem of his own, South Sydney fullback Greg Inglis has been named but Justin Hunt has been included on an extended bench as standby. A knee injury has also forced Jarryd Hayne out of the Eels side against Melbourne on Sunday, with Ben Roberts to partner Luke Kelly in the halves. The Titans' finals hopes have received a major boost with halfback Albert Kelly returning from a sternum injury for this Saturday's clash with the Warriors. His return forces Ashley Harrison to the lock position, while Greg Bird, who left the field against the Cowboys last week with a back injury, is still an uncertainty despite being named in the back-row. The Warriors welcome back Jerome Ropati, who will play his first NRL match in more than three months, named on the wing to replace Ngani Laumape. With Terry Campese still out with a fractured eye-socket,Michael Kors Handbags Outlet, Anthony Milford moves to five-eighth with Reece Robinson slotting into the No.1 jersey. Wade Graham is set to make his comeback from a shoulder injury against the Roosters on Monday night.
