Yes Owned for how long? 5 year(s) Buy this make again? Yes Price and equipment Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars For 2008, this car came with Keyless entry, Keyless Start (push button start), Bluetooth, Voice control, Front and Rear parking sensors, Leather & Suede interior, Dual Climate Control, Automatic headlights, Automatic wipers, 6 CD MP3 system, 18" alloys, turbo engine, massive boot at a reasonable price (cheaper than equivalent Mazda6 and better equipped) Under the bonnet Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars 2.5L Turbo 5 cylinder engine goes well and sounds great How it drives Rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars Handles really well, rides nicely, on the firmer side but still soaked up bumps well. Comfort and practicality Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars Plenty of space for 2 child restraints, massive boot without folding down seats. Even more space when folded down. Wider than a falcon! plenty of room for a growing family. Servicing and running costs Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars Cost a bit more to service than the standard car - Ford's fixed price servicing didn't mean you paid less, they just formalised the gouging. The Ford service guys generally don't understand this car. Aesthetics & styling Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars It did look a bit bland, but still aged nicely and is still a distinctive car to own. Safety and security Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent EuroNCAP results for front and side crash tests - the actual results excluding "bonus" points were excellent for such a large car. Central locking would auto lock once you drove off (anti-car jacking feature). Quality and reliability Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars European reliability, parts are not so readily available in Australia. Ford don't really back their product Overall verdict Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars It is a fantastic family chariot that can carry heaps, with performance to boot. Shame it is misunderstood by most people (including Ford). Should've been picked up and supported by FPV Got something to say about your car?
