The Odakyu Hotel de Yama will offer a castella sponge cake covered by a web of sugar shaped like Mount Fuji. This dessert comes with yuzu citron green tea and the castella is made with chicken eggs from the local eastern Fuji area.In fine weather, customers can enjoy the special dessert at the Lounge’s terrace seating, which offers great views of Mount Fuji. She works at the hotel’s Privé lounge bar and has been a champion bartender in Japan ever since she won first prize at the Nippon Bartenders Association (NBA) cocktail competition in 2012.At Privé from Sept. 1 to Oct. 31, Takahashi’s three award-winning cocktails, including Wisteria, which she made for 2013, will be available.
