2013 Isle Of Man TT Day 12 Daily photo update from the Isle of Man.
With the fortnight nearly complete on the Isle of Man, the weather is no longer the news; it’s the racing and records being broken.Before the start of the TT Zero race this morning, John McGuinness was looking to take the victory on the Mugen Shinden and end Michael Rutter’s three-race win streak. Indeed, McGuinness held the lead by several seconds as the race was nearing its conclusion. In the end, however, Rutter and MotoCzysz took top honors again, albeit by just 1.6 seconds, due in part to the top speed of McGuinness’ bike being limited to 122 mph. In the winner’s circle, a usually jovial McG Motorcycle lever uinness told the media that, if he and Rutter been on the same bikes, the outcome would have been different.Next up for the two-wheel crowd was Supersport Race 2. Michael Dunlop got his fourth victory of the week and another TT lap record. Will Dunlop match Ian Hutchinson’s sweep from four years ago?
